Chattogram: A city, Emerged from The Mists & Water
Chattogram, the fastest growing city of Bangladesh, is complementing the country's economy astronomically. Historically, this city has been named South Asia's gateway as it is holding the largest seaport in the region. The radical growth of trade and commerce in this city welcomed investors from the ancient period.

The port city Chattogram is now beholding a large scale of infrastructural development. The Matar Bari deep seaport construction, elevated expressway, and multilane road tunnel under Karnaphuli River are amplifying this development.
The Matar bari deep seaport will accommodate vessels of up to 70,000 dwt and handle 2.25m tonnes of goods a year. The country's cargo handling capacity will increase considerably when the port comes into operation and could attract neighboring countries' shipments.
The elevated expressway will reduce snarl in the port city after its implementation as all significant intersections on CDA Avenue, the city's main thoroughfare, will be connected with multiple ramps on the left and right of the expressway aiming to ease the city's traffic congestion and ensure quick, uninterrupted movement of vehicles.
The multilane Karnaphuli tunnel will connect Chittagong city with the other side of the Karnaphuli River. It will also join the proposed Asian Highway and the Dhaka-Chittagong-Cox's Bazar Highway to make regional connectivity easier.
The tunnel will link the Chattogram with the proposed road connectivity from Chattogram to Kunming, the South-West of China, via Cox's Bazar.
This mega infrastructural development is capturing investors in evolving economic zones at Mirsharai and Anowara. National and international investors are now keen to finance in this region, making the city a prime investment destination. This overall development facilitates the trade and commerce of Chattogram and enhances the socio-economic development of the town.
